One very useful home project using the bits that make holes & matching plugs is for hanging lights & garland to decorate your house for Christmas. I've installed dozens over archways/door frames before I was going to paint the wood work. Also did this, with a different set of bits for adding Neodymium Magnets to the brickwork around the fireplace, for more decorations, & for hanging stockings. To hide the holes in the brickwork I reused the core I drilled out & used epoxy mixed with additional brick dust, & used copper wire to center the plugs ... the brink was a nightmare to get right, I think it would have been easier to add the magnets to free standing bricks (not installed) & remove the bricks from the fireplace & replace them with those with the magnets you installed... Also this way you could install the magnets from the backs of the bricks.

They do sell sets for drill bits to cut holes & make matching plugs... very useful when you're working on a project that is using/showing natural grain wood, so you can match the plug with the hole ... trick I've used was take the plug from the same piece of wood, just take it from the flipside... that is if it isn't seen.

This is all amazing, but it can be ruined by people who don’t care or who have no organizational skills.

A decent DIY'er could probably do it in a couple hours if you have a way to cut a nice circle. I guess nothing says the circle has to be perfect as long as you get you get your 2x4's level and parellel. May be easier to do octogon or hexagon sides with a jigsaw or skillsaw if you don't have a router with a circle jig or a CNC machine. Look up turntable bearing, or Lazy Susan bearings, a winch handle, and a 2.5inch hose coupler (or whatever size hose you have). ~$30 in parts on Amazon. 4x4x 3/4 sheet of plywood, a 2x4x8, and a zip tie or velcro laying around hopefully. Whole project will run you about ~$65-$75. Up to you to put the sweat in and make it look as nice though. Considering the shipping costs the seller has to pay, I'd say $133 isn't a terrible price to charge and get a fair profit margin. Up to you how much you value your time, and the learning experience of DIY I suppose.

The second method is the proper way of doing it.

Raise the heat gun up a little. She has to lay the can on its side to heat it where needed. Just pick the heat gun up to where it needs to be. There's 2 seconds. Have the cans upright on the table, the cone goes on the next can in line, not on a cheesy holder. . .why put it down just to pick it up to put it where you need it, why not just put it where needed. Yes, the table would need a redesign. It would need to be loaded, have a low friction incline to allow the cans to slide into position for loading autonomously. There's another couple seconds. You're down to 10 seconds.

I always wrap my cords up starting from the center and doubled up. Besides rolling up twice as fast, it also allows the hose to straighten itself out because each of the two strands can spin freely and independently.

The Best Fence Bench Mount system is ok if all you need is an expensive fence system to support cutting 2x4's and other light construction grade lumber. However, if you are using it where precise square end cuts are needed (i.e. hardwood furniture cuts) just know that there is so much flex in those plastic wiz bang adjustable pieces to make a really nice "dialed in" Festool Kapex no better than a cheap chinese $99 miter saw. This is a very expensive gimmicky fence system IMO. I threw the (4) plastic wiz bang adjustable pieces in the garbage and used the (2) aluminum fence pieces to build my permanent bench mount setup that doesnt move once dialed in. And yes, kicked myself in the butt for being dumb enough to buy this system. You have been forewarned.

Just an observation... request an RMA for the bad extrusions from the extrusion supplier and have them replace with good parts. No videos or scratch and dent sales needed.

It is crucial that your fence is completely flush with the bottom fence, all baseboards have a recessed groove in the back and that grove tends to be right where the the bottom and top fence meet so if the fences are not flush it will throw off angle cuts when cutting the baseboard standing I bought the crown fence, they sit flush with the bottom fence in my saw, but theyre not square with the base of the mitersaw, not good

Wiha bits are very good, and I do like the red plastic sleeving that prevents flying debris if the bits shatter. But in the U.K. they are expensive, and quite frankly out-performed by the Wera extra tough torsion bits...I had a no.2 pozi bit in my daily use impact driver for nearly a year before I had to replace it!

For cabinets these pole dimensions are not the best. Ideally you could offer a single pole that extended from 50-96” and that would cover standard upper cabinets which are 52-54” off finished floor and fridge cabs which are typically 72”-96” The small guy works for uppers which are typically 18-19.5” above base cabinets (with and without tops)

The extra hand is good ! it's a little faster than attaching french cleats.
